Originally from Virginia Beach, Va., Nicole Reino moved to San Diego in 2000 to attend journalism school at San Diego State University. While there, she wrote entertainment and news stories for The Daily Aztec and interned at San Diego Magazine.

After graduation, Nicole moved to Palm Desert, Calif., to work as a television news producer for an NBC affiliate. After eight months, she missed San Diego and print journalism, so she moved back to America's Finest City.

Nicole was a news assistant and writer for The San Diego Union-Tribune for five years. She wrote weekly fashion and wedding columns, and also did entertainment listings and reporting. One of the highlights of her career at the U-T was covering a wedding held in aisle 10 of a local Albertsons grocery store, which made national news.

After the Union-Tribune, Nicole worked as the lifestyles editor at the La Jolla Light.

Nicole is currently an editor and writer for various publications and also has a lifestyles blog called The Concentric Circle.
