Neighborhood CrossFit in Ramona Hosts Summer Throwdown and Open House

Submitted by Neighborhood CrossFit

Ramona CrossFit Affiliate, Neighborhood CrossFit (NHCF), will be hosting a Summer Open House and competition Throwdown on Saturday June 21, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. A business fair, bounce house, food, a silent auction, and door prizes are just a few of the many activities slated for the day.

“You’ve driven by the gym on Main Street and seen the large sign; now is your opportunity to stop in and see for yourself what Neighborhood is all about,” said Lori Ross, owner of Neighborhood CrossFit. “Our Open House will feature booths from NHCF members, great food and entertainment options for the whole family, raffle and silent auctions to benefit our Neighborhood Tatas Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk team, and some high-energy competition workouts featuring Men, Women, and Kid divisions.”

The action gets going at 9 a.m. with the start of four different CrossFit WODs (Workouts of the Day) that will feature Neighborhood CrossFit members and their families. Spectators are welcomed and encouraged. The San Diego Sheriff’s Department will also be in attendance running an informational booth as part of their active recruitment drive within the County. If you’ve ever considered a career in law enforcement, this is a great opportunity to stop by and visit with current and former deputies. Spectators can also bid on several notable silent auction items, including: Padres game tickets, Chargers vs Cowboys preseason football tickets, wine and spa gift baskets, and much, much more.
