Ramona Teen Competes at Sochi Olympics
Seamus O'Connor, 16, competed in men's slopestyle and men's halfpipe at the 2014 Sochi Olympics for Ireland.
One area teen is making a name for himself at Winter Olympics in Sochi. Seamus O'Connor, who's riding for Ireland, placed 17th in men's slopestyle and 15th in men's halfpipe.
The teen, whose parents own a brain injury rehab center in Ramona and hail from Ireland and Russia, sent shoutouts to friends from Sochi last week.
"I want to say to all my teachers back in Ramona, you guys are amazing and the support from Ramona has just been phenomenal. As well as all my friends down in San Diego,” he told NBC.
