Play Ball! Ramona Pony Baseball Opens its Season
Community Park was full of Shetlands, Pintos, Broncos, Mustangs and Ponies on Saturday, along with their families, their dogs and sun umbrellas.
Baseball players age 4 and up turned out in uniform Saturday for the beginning of Pony Baseball season in Ramona. The warm, sunny day also brought out shade umbrellas and lots of cameras. Families brought their dogs. Some had picnics and ate lunches off the hoods of their cars. A few babies crawled on blankets.
