Despite Loss, Softball Coach Brainard Looks for 'Real Good Things' This Season

The co-head coach said she believes the varsity girls will make it to the playoffs.

Though the varsity softball team lost by just one hit to Fallbrook last night, co-head coach Robin Brainard said the girls still have high hopes for the playoffs this year.

The ladies played out seven innings against the Warriors, ultimately losing 5-4.

Brainard said the team didn't respond well to Fallbrook's great pitching, but the girls have a chance to make up for their loss tonight against Carlsbad High School.
