Ramona Parents Coalition to Give Public Presentation on Fact-Finding Report

The Ramona Parents Coalition will be meeting Wednesday evening at the Ramona Library to present what they call is an "impartial, unbiased" report of the fact-findings for Ramona Unified School District.

"Facts or Fiction" is open to the public and will be held at 7 p.m. The Ramona Parents Coalition is a group of "parents whose children attend Ramona schools who have come together to form a focused community voice."

According to the Coalition, the group will share data and conclusions of the fact-finding report, as well as share the sides of both the school district and the Ramona Teachers Association.

"What we have to say provides a sharp, contrasting view to anything else you have seen or heard," the group said in an email.

District Superintendent Dr. Robert Graeff said via email that while he doesn't agree with each of the coalition's view points and none of his staff will be in attendance, the Ramona Parents Coalition has "done a pretty fair job at gathering information based on available public records."

Interested in what the group has to say about both the district and teachers union? Visit the Ramona Library on May 22 at 7 p.m. for the presentation.
