Dedication Tonight, Friday for New OPMS Performing Arts Center Lighting

Theater lighting paid for by a grant from the Ramona Community Foundation will dedicated tonight and Friday evening at the Ramona High School Pops Concert.

Alliance for Music Education received the last year for upgrades to the lighting in the Olive Peirce Middle Schol Performing Arts Center (PAC).

The Pops Concert will be both tonight and Friday at 7 p.m. at the OPMS PAC.

The Alliance for Music Education (AME) was formed in 2004 to help provide financial and volunteer support to the Ramona Unified School District music education programs. The grant received last year will support the revitalization of the Charles R. Nunn Performing Arts Center, which is on the campus of Olive Peirce Middle School and adjacent to Ramona High School and serves a hub of cultural activity in Ramona.

The dedicated lighting provides theatrical lighting for the center’s stage, which is used by Ramona schools and organizations year-round.
