Ramona Winter Guard Members Are Silver Medalists

On Saturday April 12, the Ramona Winter Guard competed at the WGASC championships competition. There are five show sites in which groups of different divisions are dispersed. The winter guard competes in the RAA ( Regional 2A) division, the second highest division of seven scholastic divisions in the circuit.

The winter guard competed against 8 other color guards from different parts of southern California in their round, earning the silver medal (second place) with a score of 92.28. This score was about a  seven point increase from the last score earned, and is also the highest score the winter guard has ever received since it first formed. This is also the second time the winter guard has ever come home with a championships medal.

The winter guard will be performing their show for the home crowd Thursday , April 24 at 7 P.M. in the RHS Gymnasium.
