Weather Service Cancels Red Flag Warning for San Diego County

The high fire risk warning is still in effect for parts of San Bernardino, Riverside and Orange counties.

The National Weather Service in San Diego has canceled the Red Flag Warning for high fire risk Wednesday and Thursday in all parts of San Diego county.

This was based on updated weather information.

In San Diego county, dry conditions, warm temperatures and winds gusting up to 20 to 30 mph are still expected in some areas. Temperatures are expected to reach the upper 70s Thursday through Saturday in Ramona, then Sunday and Monday are expected to be in the low 80s.

In Julian residents can expect gusts of dust on Thursday morning. Temperatures are anticipated to rise into the 70s by Sunday and continue that trend into Tuesday.
