RMWD Preview: Fire Mitigation Fee and San Vicente Road Widening

The May 14 meeting will give discuss the Poway Pump Station project.

Water costs for the Ramona Municipal Water District might be reduced through a partnership with the Poway Pump Station, according to the agenda of the water board's first meeting of the month.

The  2 p.m. Tuesday (May 14) meeting in the Community Center will discuss hopes for a deal to help reduce water costs and better utilize Lake Ramona.

The district is asking the water board to approve remaining funding for the project in the amount of $184,000.

The board will also discuss the resolution to continue the RMWD’s participation in the fire mitigation fee program and borrowing funds needed to relocate water pipelines affected by the County of San Diego’s project to widen and realign San Vicente Road.

The Board of Directors meets at 2 p.m. at 434 Aqua Lane. The public is invited to attend the meeting.
