Ramona Rain Wednesday Breaks 1949 Record for May 18

Ramona had double the rain of its record for May 18, set in 1949.

San Diego county had record rain in places on Wednesday.

Rain at Mt. Woodson measured 0.24 inch compared to the previous record of 0.12 inch on May 18, 1949, according to the National Weather Service.

Records also were broken at Lindbergh Field, which received 0.19 inch, and in Campo, where it rained 0.41 inch on Wednesday.
