Danielson to Be Arraigned Thursday

Timothy Danielson was arrested on suspicion of slaying a woman found at his Lakeside home Monday.

Arraignment is re-scheduled to Thursday for Timothy Ralph Danielson, who is
accused of killing his ex-wife in a Lakeside home Monday and then attempting to
kill himself by inhaling carbon monoxide from a portable gas-powered generator.

Authorities reported Danielson's sister-in-law called 911 after receiving an email stating the defendant had killed "his wife" and was about to take his own life.

SignOnSanDiego.com reported Tuesday that the couple were no longer married and that the deceased woman's name was Ming Qi, Danielson's former wife.

He was hospitalized and arrested on suspicion of murder on Monday.

Danielson has worked as an engineer in El Cajon and is a former track and field athlete.

His arraignment was to have been Wednesday.
