A Fifth Armed Robbery in Ramona in Six Months

On Tuesday night, Ramona Lisa Beer and Wine became the fourth Ramona store to have an armed robbery in six months. One store has had two robberies.

Currency, cigarettes, a cell phone and keys valued at $680 were taken from the store and an individual, according to the crime logs at Ramona Sheriff's substation. The robbery occurred at 9:17 p.m. in the 1100 block of Main Street.

An armed robbery occurred at in the 400 block of D Street on Nov. 29. A cell phone valued at $500 and $647 in currency were stolen.

also occurred at in August and September and in July. The taco shop is in the 1800 block of Main Street and Ransom Brothers is on B Street.

Theft or vandalism occurred at another business and two churches in the period from Nov. 24 to Dec. 7.

Metal and miscellaneous items valued at $6,200 were stolen from the  in the 500 block of 9th Street on Nov. 24. The theft occurred at about 9 p.m.

Building materials valued at $2,500 were stolen from a vehicle at Archibald Sheet Metal, in the 1600 block of Montecito Road at 8 p.m. on Dec. 7.

Vandalism occurred at I in the 500 block of E Street on Dec. 1.
