Sixth Armed Robbery in Ramona Since July

Circle K was held up early Friday morning. An undetermined amount of cash was taken. The suspect is a Hispanic male, about age 30.

Another armed robbery occurred in Ramona at 1:45 a.m. Friday, bringing the total to six such robberies in six months.

The robbery happened at on Main Street.

The suspect was a Hispanic male, about age 30, 5' 7" and about 180lbs, according to Sheriff's Lt. Tony Ray. He was wearing a gray beanie hat, dark sweatshirt and a mask. He stole an undetermined amount of cash, Ray said.

Det. Tom Seiver of Ramona substation told Patch that a handgun was used in the crime. At this stage, the robbery is not thought to be related to that have happened in town since July, he said.
