Romodeling Company Repairman Accused of Burglary Arrested in Ramona

Carlos Barajas faces check fraud and burglary charges.

Sheriff's deputies investigating a North County repairman suspected of burglarizing homes during jobs asked today for any former clients who may have been victimized to come forward.

Carlos Barajas, 31, of RB Remodeling was arrested April 9 in Ramona on suspicion of check fraud and burglary, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.

The investigation started in March when a Vista woman reported that her checks had been fraudulently cashed and she was missing a ring, authorities said, adding that Barajas made water damage repairs in her home in February.

Anyone who filed a crime report after having done by Barajas or his company, RB Remodeling, was asked to call Detective Byron Barrios at (760) 940- 4600.
