A motorcyclist was seriously injured Sunday when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed on a rural highway.
The solo vehicle accident happened about 12:55 p.m. at 36732 State Route 79 on the way toward Julian, said CHP media information officer Robert Catano.
"The motorcyclist was unconscious on the scene when medics resuscitated him with CPR," Catano said.
The victim was taken to Palomar Hospital, where he was in serious condition, Catano said.
