Christmas Day Thieves in Santa Ysabel Sought By Sheriff

Thieves stole an undisclosed amount of money from Dudley's Bakery.

The Sheriff's Department is asking for help identifying and locating two thieves who broke into Dudley's Bakery in Santa Ysabel on Christmas morning and stole money.

The suspects were caught on an infra-red video surveillance camera. The public can see the video here.

The thieves stole an undisclosed amount of money after forcing entry in the early hours, according to a news release. They were seen running from the business, which is at 30218 Highway 78.

They are described as follows:

Suspect 1: Male, possibly white, tattoo on right side of neck, early 20s, about 6 feet and 200 lbs, clean shaven. He was seen wearing a light colored print shirt, possibly with the words South Pole on the front and knee-length shorts.

Suspect 2: Male, about 5' 7", 150 to 160 lbs, seen wearing dark colored hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

The men broke into a side door, using a tool. There's no known description of any vehicle involved.
