Brews and Barks: Local Dog Rescue Teams Up With ChuckAlek
The last Saturday of each month, visitors can sip suds and pet the pups at Ramona's local brewery.
Two local businesses are clinking mugs each month in an effort to create social time with senior dogs.
Double D Rescue Ranch's Heaven Can Wait is inviting Ramona residents and their pooches to ChuckAlek Ind. Brewers on the last Saturday of each month. The local rescue, run by Debbie DeGarmo, is taking the chance to socialize their senior dogs while supporting the new brewery on Main Street.
The new "yappy hour" will be from 5-7 p.m. on the last Saturday of each month and ChuckAlek co-owner Marta Jankowska said specials will be offered during the time the barks are at the brews.
