Pet of the Week: Daniella

This lounger is independent, but loves to be pet and prefers things quiet.

Daniella is a 4-year-old spayed female brown tabby mix, ID 60706.

Daniella has been waiting for a new home since October 2011. She sees a lot of people roaming the halls looking for cats or kittens but somehow she seems to go unnoticed. So here she is world—take notice and come meet her!

Here's a little about her personality: She’s a nice girl who is a little independent, but still good company. If you've had a good day or a bad day and just want to talk about it, she’ll be there for you. If she feels like it, she might sit on your lap for a few moments, but she’s not an actual lap cat.

She likes to play and bat things around but she’s not the type of cat who will be running up and down your house—she’s more of a lounger who enjoys getting pet and hanging out with her human. She’s been around other cats and can tolerate them but sometimes they make her a little grumpy so she would be much happier as an only pet in a quiet home with no children.

Daniella is available for adoption at the Escondido Humane Society, 3450 E. Valley Parkway. Her $25 adoption fee in February includes her spay, microchip, up-to-date vaccinations and vet exam.
