County Offering Free Flu Shots on Wednesday

San Diego County is offering free flu shots in El Cajon on Wednesday with Supervisor Diane Jacob among those scheduled to attend.
The shots will be offered from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ronald Reagan Community Center, 195 East Douglas Avenue, El Cajon.
Free pneumonia vaccinations are also available for senior citizens or those with chronic medical conditions.
A total of 65 San Diegans died due to complications from influenza last season, according to county health officials. That was the highest number of local deaths on record.
