All courts, post offices and banks in San Diego County will be closed Monday because of Columbus Day.
The federal holiday will not be observed by local schools, and the Ramona Library is open. Residential trash will still be picked up by Ramona Disposal.
Also, parking meters will be enforced and all public buses, trolleys and trains operated by the North County Transit District and the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System are scheduled to run on their normal weekday schedules.
