Show Off Those Pipes

• Take your talents out of the shower and to the stage at San Vicente Resort's Par Lounge tonight. Open Mic night begins at 6:30 p.m. Arrive early and grab a drink for some liquid courage before belting out your best rendition of "Livin' On a Prayer."

• Ramona teens can head to the library (1275 Main Street) at 3 p.m. for some games, like the never-ending Monopoly or hilarious Apples to Apples. Stay afterward for Zumba at 4:30 p.m. (The most fun way to do cardio!).

• Here at Patch, we love to hear what you have to say about it all: restaurants, businesses, how your local park needs new swings. One resident had a bad experience and posted it to our opinion board. Sign in to your Patch account and post those opinions, be whatever they may!

• Sure, the Amber Alert we all got on our phones last week regarding missing teen Hannah Anderson were loud, scary and annoying to some, but San Diego County is urging residents not top opt out of receiving the loud messages on their phones. Will you keep the messages activated on your cell, or opt out? Tell us in the comments.

• Camp Pendleton will train with explosives from 6 a.m. to midnight through Friday. Booms may be heard up to 50 miles away.
