Kitchen Barn, Defibrillators, Haircuts, and 'Buy, Sell, Trade'

What to know in Ramona Wednesday.

1. Behind the Biz: Kitchen Barn
Kitchen Barn, which sits at 780 Main Street, Suite G, is family-owned and operated by the Tafts. They offer full-service kitchen remodeling, flooring, installation, even closet design: you name it, they can do it. Click the link to read all about the shop.

2. RUSD defibrillators need batteries soon! Lets raise $500
FRIENDS OF RAMONA UNIFIED SCHOOLS (FORUS) has been contacted by Olive Peirce Middle School's health office which needs to replace the battery to their AED (Automated External Defibrillator). It costs a little less than $250 to replace the battery. There is also another AED at RUSD that also will need a replacement battery in the near future. AEDs in public places make it possible to  save the life of someone  in cardiac arrest or v-fib, by correcting the heart rhythm even before paramedics can get on the scene....

3. Free Inital 10 Panel Drug Testing for Ramona Adolescents
Suspect your kid's using drugs? McAlister’s North Rural Teen Recovery Center is now offering the community a free drug screening for adolescents in the Ramona community and surrounding areas.

4. Buy, Sell, Trade: Women's Boots, Plecostamus, Horse Blankets
The Ramona Patch "Buy, Sell, Trade" board has been active lately. Click here to list your own items

5. What’s the Going Rate for a Child’s Haircut?
With school just starting, lots of long summer hair is being cut. What do you pay around town?
