Ramona Crime: $15,000 in Thefts at Two Equipment Rental Companies
The following recent incidents were reported at the Ramona Sheriff's Department substation.
Nov. 21
Vandalism- Ramona High School- damage to wall valued at $500.
Nov. 23
Assault with a deadly weapon (not firearm)- 400 block Main St- 49-year-old male injured, 22-year-old male booked.
Nov. 24
Assault with a deadly weapon (not firearm)- 2000 block Main St- 41-year-old female booked.
Nov. 25
Grand theft vehicle parts- 2500 block Main St, Victim: Erickson EMS- 16 items stolen valued at $2,500.
Vandalism to vehicle- 700 block E St.
Nov. 26
Grand theft- 100 block 10th St, Victim: Piva Equipment- construction eqiupment valued at $12,000.
DUI and reckless driving- Posthill Rd @ SR-67- 31-year-old male booked.
Nov. 27
Vehicular burglary- Mt. Woodson Rd @ SR-67- $500 cash, electronics and clothes valued at $3,500.
Commercial burglary- 200 block Pine St, One Stop Equipment Rental- tools valued at $2,400 recovered- 34-year-old male booked.
Nov. 28
Residential burglary- 15700 block Oak Valley Rd- rifle, electronics valued at $3,600.
Discharge firearm in negligent manner- 1100 block Cedar Summit Dr- 30-year-old male cited.
Nov. 29
Stolen vehicle- 1200 block Main St- Uhaul Trailer taken.
Dec. 3
Possession of marijuana for sale- Olive Pierce Middle School- juvenile booked at 8:46 a.m., detained and handled within the department.
Commercial burglary- 1600 block Wilson Rd- tools valued at $450.
Vandalism- 1600 block Main St- damage to vehicle valued at $150.
Dec. 4
Vandalism- 1600 block Main St, Stater Bros. - damage to wall.
