A grant seekers forum will be held June 5 in the Ramona Library for those interested in learning more about the grant process.

The Ramona Community Foundation is pleased to announce its 2013 Grant Guidelines and to invite nonprofit organizations serving Ramona to apply for funding.

The focus of this year’s guidelines is “Health and Human Services – Safe and Healthy Community.” The Foundation will accept proposal for programs that address safety and the health, well-being and self sufficiency of individuals, families in Ramona. A grant seekers forum will be held on Wednesday, June 5 in the Ramona Library for those interested in learning more about the grant process.

An affiliate of The San Diego Foundation, the Ramona Community Foundation was founded in 2009 by Ramona community leaders to raise dollars in Ramona for Ramona. All decisions surrounding the grants awarded are made by the local members of this community pooled philanthropy model.

Last year, the RCF granted $30,200 to Ramona nonprofits. The goal of the members of the Ramona Community Foundation is to leverage small resources to have a great impact. The Foundation welcomes new members to join them in the significant impacts they are making.

Nonprofit organizations serving Ramona interested in attending the grant seekers forum should RSVP to trudy@sdfoundation.org or by calling 619-764-8602
