'Jobs That Bite!' Films Humping Dromedaries at Ramona's Oasis Camel Dairy

The local camel dairy has been visited by "Dirty Jobs" and "Bizarre Foods," but National Geographic caught some of the most eye-popping footage.

One of the many curiosities in Ramona will be featured again in a nationally aired television show this weekend- "Jobs that Bite" get a lesson from Oasis Camel Dairy on what to do when a camel becomes amorous with the host.

The operating dairy at 26757 Old Julian Hwy. has been featured on Dirty Jobs and Bizarre Foods, and sells a variety of items made from camel milk, like soap, creams, lotions and chocolate.

The episode of "Jobs That Bite" will air Nov. 16 on Nat Geo Live.

Huffington Post Weird News gets into more detail about Camels, if you're interested.

Once a month the camel dairy hosts an open house where people can tour the grounds, buy some products and even ride a camel. This month, Nov. 23-24, is Pomegranate Days at the dairy, with live performances and people get to feed the camels pomegranates, which they love!
