Three Local Women to be Honored with Trailblazer Awards for Pioneering Efforts in Promoting San Diego's Wine Industry

On June 15, 2013, from noon – 4pm, Maness Vineyards presents their 5th Annual Food & Wine Mixer at Stephanie Young’s Manor Vineyard. The organizers, Stephanie Young and Greg Maness & John Keily of Maness Vineyards are hosting this event to promote the emerging wine industry of San Diego County. Three local pioneering women will be awarded “Trailblazer Awards” for their continued efforts in promoting and developing the San Diego wine industry. The recipients being honored are San Diego County Supervisor Diane Jacob, Miriam Rafftery, owner of the East County Magazine and radio show, and Teri Kerns, co-owner of Ramona Ranch Winery and editor of the Ramona Valley Wine Region Magazine. Guests of the event will enjoy a barbeque and local wines, and an opportunity drawing to benefit adults with developmental disabilities at St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center. Guests are encouraged to bring a bottle or two of wine to share. The event is limited to 200 business associates and affiliates. Parking is located in the Von’s parking lot at 1201 Avocado Blvd, El Cajon, 92020 and guests will be shuttled to the event. Please note that this event is not ADA accessible.
