The public is invited to address the group to support or oppose projects.

Meetings are at 7 p.m. on the first Thursday each month in the Community Room at Ramona Public Library at 1275  Main St.

The library also offers tutoring and a variety of speakers, crafts and events. The Friends of the Library group supports the branch and issues a newsletter. They have a room in the library complex where they sell books.

The Ramona Community Resource Center provides information and services related to Medi-Cal, mental healthMore administration, domestic violence safety programs, the Cash Assistance Program for Immigrants (CAPI), Food Stamps and the Children in Need program, which offers enrichment programs for disadvantaged children. The center is housed in the same complex as the superior court, library and sheriff's department. The staff serves residents of Ramona, Julian, Warner Springs and Borrego Springs.
