We're so happy for both JoJo and his new family. Thank you so much for the service you provide through the Patch to connect horses and homes! That gives a whole new perspective to Stephen, and, for me, at least, makes it way harder to imagine…Read More that he seriously wanted to rob a bank or kill someone.

Though I no longer live in Ramona, my heart is still there. So it's great to read about the people I…Read More knew like Don Owen. He called the numbers at the Senior Center Bingo, and always grew the largest pumpkin in town. He will be the perfect Grand Marshal.

I would rather see individual solar installations, a lot of smaller systems instead of one super…Read More sized system
ignatius minervini May 12, 2012 at 10:57 am
Greg,
Yes, the places you mentioned are somewhat ugly.....or at best, they are not pleasant to look…Read More at. Whats happening with this issue is that a beautiful vista will be turned into hundreds of moving, huge solar panels 8 feet off the ground. Instead of looking over a field of grass and bushes, one will view a sea of metal and glass. The opponents to this solar "farm" are not against solar power, they simply don't want it put at this location.....in our faces. There are many other locations available for solar farms in the Ramona area that will not be as visible. Please have some compassion for your Ramona neighbors.
Do you realize there are virtually no zoning regulations when it comes to placing solar "farms" in rural areas ? Thats wrong and violates our rights to enjoy a peaceful place to live.
