Thanks, K Wright. It wasn't written to mean three losses this week (just meant it was their thirdRead More game of the week and they lost.) I've clarified! Hope you like the photos! Best, Melissa

Proper nutrition is not important to athletes in vulnerable communities.

I fail to see what food stamps have anything to do with the Olympics.

TIL - I nominate you for "Christian Humanitarian" of the Year. I guess you think itRead More better to let children die of malnutrition. Again not on topic as usual.

Tiffany, as a soccer goalkeeper for years in both outdoor and indoor soccer, I know the pressures ofRead More a close game and how much the rest of the team depend on you as the last line of defense. All I can say is, "Well played goalie!"

Good Post, having been a long time Laker fan, since they came to LA. I have seen the Game go fromRead More playing defense to a mostly offensive game only. Scoring has been up this year, it makes for better television. PED's help the players get by the 82 game Sch. and the 30 to 40 more for the playoffs, and also why we see alot more older players in the NBA, Steve Nash just turned 38, and he's plays Point Guard. and he's still playing very well...!!! The money to be made in the NBA is just way to much to really test for PED's. Jerry Buss past away this past week, a great owner will be Missed, He paid'd 98 million for the Lakers in 1979, they are on the Forbes top 10 list for sports teams world wide at # 10 worth 950,million...!!!

What an honor for the town of Ramona. The RamonaFunRiders have been saying for years that the bestRead More riding in all of San Diego is the east county. Low traffic, a minimum of stop lights and stop signs and challenging hills and georgeous scenery make the area our favorite place to ride. The pros will be challenged by the ride up from San Pasqual Valley, the climbs on Old Julian Hwy and of course the Big Dog, Palomar mountain. To finish it off they get the quad-buster Cole Grade Road before the finish in Escondido. Let's turn out and line the streets of Ramona for a country welcome for the best cyclists in the world. LOL! Fun article, Cyndi! (And chock full of handy football tidbits.) Alas, I don't watch ballRead More games. (Not my cup of tea.) But man, some of those food offerings sound GREAT! (I may have to try to make some!)

How many people normally call in sick on Mondays, regardless of there being a sports event onRead More Sunday? I want to know if 1.5 million sick and 4 million late to work is 10x the normal amount or if it's about average.

Ah.. ofcourse! Thank you.

they have two years to file, but that doesn't effect how long the proceedings can drag out...itRead More takes prosecuting attorneys three years to get a court date... ...then both sides start piling on the motions... for the attorney - there's no money in going to court because it takes up too much of their time.....the big bucks are in the paperwork...

Isnt there a statute of limitations of 2 years in a non-medical wrongful death case in the State ofRead More California? The suit was file here in San Diego, per the pdf .

9:43 pm on Sunday, January 27, 2013 Prior to the 2012 Football Season, the American Academy ofRead More Neurology published, in the journal Neurology, a study of 3500 professional football players, and found that professional football players are 4 times as likely to develop ALS ( Lou Gehrig's disease), and also had higher risk of developing Parkinson's Disease and Alzheimers Disease, compared to the general public. Attorneys did not make this up. Its important that parents know this prior to signing up their kids for football.. yes, it can happen even in middle school or high school or college... Its not a laughing matter. If you are a parent who wants your kid to be in football, consider making sure they will be the quarterback or kicker... unless the game changes to reduce repetitive head injuries. Respectfully, Jane Tanaka MD.

Will the "Family of Jr Seau be there at Canton in 2015 when he gets inducted to the Hall ofRead More Fame...? They were there for his Charger induction . Good point about USC and Oceanside High being on the "List" to sue, maybe Popwarner also, or Mom or Dad who drove him to football pactice...!!!
