Saturday, June 2–Local Ribs and Wines Pair up at the Ramona Fairgrounds for a Good Cause

Opportunity to support a good cause, taste local wines and meet the winemakers at Ramona's 7th annual Ribfest at the Ramona Fairgrounds on June 2nd.

I wanted to let you know about a great opportunity this Saturday, June 2 to get out and support our community and taste several great, local wines in one place!   

For the first time, our Ramona Valley Winery Association will be participating in the Seventh Annual Ribfest, at the Ramona fairgrounds as part of the festivities from 11 am to 7 pm.  

Thanks to the coordination by Jennifer Jenkin, owner of Pamo Valley Winery, seven of our local winemaking families, including:

  • Edwards Vineyard and Cellars
  • Mahogany Mountain Vineyard and Winery
  • Chuparosa Vineyards
  • Kohill Winery
  • Highland Hills Winery
  • Woof’n Rose Winery
  • and Pamo Valley Winery

These wineries will be available to share the fruits of their labor, answer your questions, and introduce you to the award winning wines being produced right in our backyards.  

For $15, you’ll get all you can eat ribs, including sides, and the wines will be offered for only $1 per 1oz. taste and $5 for a glass.

Adding to the fun, there will be a raffle and live music. Kids are only $2, and funds raised help support the Ramona Nutritional Center.
