Top Cowboys Will Contend for Awards at Ramona Rodeo
Several professionals who have been world champions and in the National Finals Rodeo will compete at Fred Grand Arena.
Ramona Rodeo this weekend will be a bit like watching a National Finals event, according to the list of competitors in the standings.
Among this weekend's top athletes to appear at Fred Grand Arena are:
- steer wrestler Luke Branquinho
- steer wrestler Billy Bugenig
- bareback rider Clint Cannon
- bull rider Dustin Elliott
- barrel racer Brittany Pozzi
- tie down roper Matt "Shazam" Schiozawa
Cowboys are coming from all over the United States and as far away as New Zealand.

Opening ceremonies for the three-day event begin tonight. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., with performances beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Fred Grand Arena, 421 Aqua Lane, Ramona.
