Soccer Camp Comes to Ramona July 22

The camp is for players ages 6-16 spanning all levels of skill and experience.

A summer soccer camp is coming to Ramona the week of July 22-26 and it's being led by Coach Michael Jordan, who holds a “D” National Coaching License and a UK International soccer coach.

According to a press release, Jordan has coached varsity girls and boys soccer for 15 years, was the Ramona Soccer League director of coaches for eight years. He is being joined by Tyrone White from Sheffield, England to run the camp. 

White was a trainer for UK International and ran the recreational and competitive training for RSL for five years, according to the soccer league.  Coach Jordan will also have boys and girls from Ramona High School soccer teams as trainers, providing a low ratio of players to instructors.

The camp is for players ages 6-16 spanning all levels of skill and experience. The camp will include skills, drills, fitness, games and knowledge of the game of soccer.  

The camp will run from 9 a.m. to noon each day and players need to bring proper sports clothes, cleats, shin guards, water, sun-screen and a snack.

The price is $30 a day or $115 for the week and participants receive professional training, camp t-shirt, water bottle and certificate.
