Sign up for Pony Baseball Winter League

Winter league starts in September, so sign your little one up today.

Ready to play ball? Winter Pony Ball is coming up, but players must be signed up by Aug. 25.

Kelly Roe, who is in charge of public relations for Ramona Pony Baseball, said Winter Ball is an excellent time for players who want some extra instruction. It's also a chance for players to move up to the next division to get ready for Spring Ball.

Sign ups will be at the Ramona Pony Baseball Fields, located at 434 Aqua Ln., on the following days and times:

  • Aug. 11 10 a.m.-noon
  • Aug. 12 noon-2 p.m.
  • Aug. 18 10 a.m.-noon
  • Aug. 19 noon-2 p.m.
  • Aug. 25 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Winter Ball is $95 per player and siblings can play for $85. The winter season will run from Sept. 9 through Nov. 18.

There will be no games on Veteran's Day, Nov. 11.

Pony Baseball's Winter league is also in need of managers. Anyone interested in managing a team can email Roe at dkberbar@aol.com and their information will be passed onto Vice Presidents Lois Hoeniger or Scott Brown, depending on the division they are interested in.

This summer, the Ramona Pony Baseball All-Star team and played in the Super Regionals.
