Markie Battaglia, of Ramona, the 2010 Miss Rodeo California and first runner-up Miss Rodeo America, was the master of ceremonies.
"The girls are educators. They teach people about rodeo that are uninformed about the sport," Battaglia said. "As a rodeo queen, they are the ambassador for the community and the rodeo that they have the honor of representing."
