Ramona Pony Baseball Opening Ceremonies Will Include Field Unveiling

The March 2 event will include a 9 a.m. parade and recognition of last season's accomplishments.

The 2013 Opening Day Ceremony for Ramona Pony Baseball happens this weekend, and the organization is inviting all past, present and future players to the event.

Kelly Roe, who does media relations for the organization, said the community is also invited to the ceremonies on Saturday, where last season's accomplishments will be recognized and a parade full of "Pony Spirit" will kick off the 2013 season.

The "Blast to the Past"-themed ceremony will also include a special unveiling of the groundbreaking for the new Shetland Field, Roe said.
