[Photo Gallery] Varsity Girls Lacrosse Lose in Del Norte Face-Off

The ladies lost their last game of the week, 12-5, against Del Norte at home.

The Ramona High Girls Varsity Lacrosse team may have lost Friday night's game to the Del Norte Nighthawks, but there's no denying the girls did well.

Coach Jim Bliss told Patch that despite the loss, the team played well and he thought it was a "positive" experience for the girls.

The Lady Bulldogs duked it out on the field with a strong start, and the first goal of the evening on the first play.

Ultimately, Del Norte won, with 12 goals and Ramona with 5. Sophomore Kelsey Nowakowski was the strong player of the night, with three goals, totaling her season goals at 31.

Regardless of the loss, the ladies looked good out on the field. Check out the photo gallery and Patch Clip from Friday night's game and stay tuned for Coach's Corner with Jim Bliss on Monday and a player interview with Kelsey on Tuesday.
