Bulldogs Play in CIF Finals With Motivation from Morgan

The Ramona High football team has advanced to the CIF Division III finals.

The U-T San Diego reported that Ramona Bulldogs football player Javier Dominguez draws inspiration from fallen former player Ryan Morgan during the team's CIF playoff games.

Dominguez told the U-T that Morgan, a 2010 Ramona High graduate and West Point cadet who died on June 3 after a motorcycle accident near Ramona, was like a "celebrity" to him, pushing him to do well.

“We put so much blood, sweat and tears into this season,” said Dominguez, a senior defensive back, “and Ryan was our motivation.”
