2 Ramona Girls Named to All-League Lacrosse Teams
Ramona High's Ashley Wright and Kelsey Nowakawski were named to the Valley League's first and second teams.
Ramona High School's Ashley Wright and Kelsey Nowakawski have been named to the Valley League's All-league lacrosse teams, a designation for outstanding players as chosen by the league's coaches.
Wright, a sophomore, was chosen for the first team, along with 11 other girls from a handful of other high schools. Nowakawski, also a sophomore, was one of 12 girls picked for the second team.
Megan Drew, from Del Norte High School in the Poway Unified School District, was named the Valley League's Player of the Year.
