Ramona School District Recognizes 2013-14 Teachers of the Year

Some of the teachers will be retiring at the end of the year.

Ramona Unified School District honored the Teachers of the Year for 2013-14 at an awards ceremony last week.

The Teachers of the Year for RUSD are as follows:

  • Carol Canfield, Montecito High School
  • Karen Johnson, Barnett Elementary School
  • Joyce Olson, Hanson Elementary School
  • Mark Dillon, James Dukes Elementary School
  • Leslie Wilson, Mt. Woodson Elementary
  • Amy McClure, Ramona Community School
  • Sandra Jiminez, Ramona Elementary School
  • Stacey Moyer, Olive Peirce Middle School
  • Pixie Sulser, Ramona High School
According to RUSD Superintendent Robert Graeff, the teachers were selected this past spring for the 2013-14 school year "Teacher of the Year" award, though some of them are actually retiring at the end of this school year.
