Sheriff's Citizen's Academy
A diverse group of sheriff’s personnel will teach about our community and your job as a citizen, including:
- the bomb/arson unit
- border suppression team
- K‐9 Unit
- ASTREA
- communication center
- crime prevention
- crime analysis
- patrol deputies
- detectives
Graduates will receive a certificate at the end of the class.
Applicants must be 18 years or older and must pass a background check.
