Ramona Home Prices Rise 19% in 2013, Condo Prices Drop

The median price of a single-family residence that sold in Ramona last year was $375,000.

The median price of a single-family residence that sold in Ramona last year was $375,000, a 19 percent increase over 2012, a local Realtors group reported Wednesday.

For multi-family housing units like condominiums and townhomes, the median price in 2013 was $163,750 -- a 7.4 percent drop from the previous year, according to the San Diego Association of Realtors.

Houses and condos also spent about a third less time on the market in 2013 than in 2012.

As for sales that occurred in December, the median price of a house was $425,000, a 4.4 percent increase from November and a 14 percent climb from December 2012.

Only one condo was sold in Ramona in December, for $318,000.

The number of sales increased last month after a drop in sales in the fall, with 28 hoes sold in December.

The most paid for a home in Ramona in 2013 was $1.25 million.
