On Saturday, March, the Drumline competed at Del Norte High School against eight other groups, taking 4th place with a score of 68.28. This is the first competition of the season
The drumline received a "timing penalty" for not having a long enough show ( it is common for this to occur early on in the season). The drumline is starting off the season well with a score like this. The music is well composed by the drumline instructor Terrance Norris, and there are cool visual effects and drill included in the show.
The Drumline's next show is at Mission Vista High School on March 29.
