Windy Weather on the Way

Mountains and deserts will be under an advisory until 4 a.m. Saturday.

Strong gusty winds are in store for the mountains and deserts of San Diego County for the rest of the week, forecasters report.

The windy weather expected to last through Friday night is due to a trough of low pressure over the interior west, according to the National Weather Service.

The agency has issued a wind advisory for the mountains and deserts until 4 a.m. Saturday.
