Water Board Recognizes Hager and Wadlington's Service; Swears In New Members

RMWD Board President Bryan Wadlington said he has enjoyed serving the community of Ramona.

During their last meeting serving on the board, President Bryan Wadlington and Director Red Hager were recognized for their time spent serving the community.

The two received plaques from the board at the year-end meeting held in the community center Dec. 11.

Hager did not run for re-election and Wadlington lost to Rex A. Schildhouse at the Nov. 6 elections.

"I have enjoyed working for you... the people of Ramona," Wadlington said at the public meeting. "I have never made a decision without considering my constituents."

Board member Darrell Beck said that Wadlington had done a "good job of stabilizing" things during his term on the board.

"With Bryan leading this group, we've done a good job," Beck said. "We wish you guys well."

Schildhouse, George Foote and Beck, who had no opponents for his division, were all sworn in at the end of the meeting.

Foote beat out Brandon DiPietro on Nov. 6.

The next board meeting, in which Schildhouse and Foote will serve their new roles, will be held on Jan. 8 at 2 p.m. in the community center.
