Winds gusting up to 55 mph in San Diego county mountains could cause snow flurries and poor visibility, the Weather Service predicts. Motorists may encounter icy roads and fog. This is expected to impact Highway 79 through the local mountains.

The Winter Weather Advisory is also in effect for Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino counties. The Interstate 5 corridor through the Grapevine is expected to see the most impact, with possible dangerous driving conditions, the Weather Service reports.
