A stolen dog has been found due to a microchip and a break-in happened at a local business.

Sept. 20: Grand theft, 400 block of Penn St., 8:30 a.m., power tool, $1,200.

Sept. 26: Theft from vehicle, 1200 block of Main Street, 5 p.m., jewelry, purse, cell phone and miscellaneous, $4,001.

Sept. 28: Residential burglary, 2100 block of Toca Lane, 8 a.m., grand theft—rifle, tools, jewelry, computer, credit cards, $10, 620.
Sept. 28: Stolen vehicle, 600 Montecito Way, 12:30 p.m., beige pickup, $15,000.
Sept. 28: Vehicle burglary and stolen pet, 1400 block of Main Street, 3 p.m., $100. Note: the department reported that this pet was recovered due to a microchip.
Sept. 28: Commerical burglary, Xanthus Property Management, 800 block of A Street, 6 p.m., miscellaneous, $2,000.
Sept. 28: Petty theft, 1700 block of La Brea Street, 7:15 p.m., clothing, $500.
Sept. 29: Warrant arrest, felony, existing case, 1400 block of Ashley Road, 10:19 a.m., Donte Damas, age 20, was booked into San Diego Central Jail.
Sept. 30: Possession of controlled substance and paraphernalia, 2300 block of San Vicente Road, 1:50 a.m., Heidi Morgan, age 46, was booked into Las Colinas Detention Facility in Santee.
Sept. 30: Vehicle burglary, 1400 block of Hanson Lane, 2:30 p.m., radio, television, stereo and electronic components, amplifier, $3,900.
Sept. 30: Vehicle theft, 1800 block of Lilac Road, 6 p.m., light truck (gray), $22,000.
Oct. 1: Vehicle burglary, 100 block of North 10th Street, tools and miscellaneous, $1,075.
Oct. 1: Vandalism, 16700 block of Vista Summit Drive, light truck, $400.
Oct. 1: Possession of controlled substances, hypodermic needle (syringe) and paraphernalia, Montecito Road and Main Street.
Oct. 1: Petty theft, 800 block of Magnolia Heights, 6 p.m., prescription and non-prescription drugs, $120.
Oct. 2: Assault with a deadly weapon (firearm), 15600 block of Letton Street and Main Street, 9 p.m. The 22-year-old victim sustained severe laceration, broken bones and possible internal injuries.
