The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a high wind warning for local mountains and deserts from 10 a.m. Saturday to 10 a.m. Sunday.
The forecast replaces an earlier high wind watch.
Westerly winds of 25 to 35 mph are expected, with gusts of 60 mph. Strong gusts could cause property damage, according to the Service.
A high surf advisory is in effect until 4 p.m. Saturday.
Low pressure is expected to bring cooler weather to the mountains and deserts Saturday through Tuesday. Light precipitation is possible west of the mountain crests Saturday through early Sunday and again Monday through Wednesday. Fog is possible on the coastal slopes Saturday into Sunday.
