High Wind Warning for San Diego County Mountains, Deserts Thursday

Warning is in effect from 10 a.m. Thursday to 1 a.m. Friday.

The National Weather Service on Wednesday afternoon issued a High Wind Warning for San Diego County mountains and deserts to be in effect from 10 a.m. Thursday to 1 a.m. Friday.

This supersedes an earlier High Wind Watch.

Gusts over 60 mph are possible. Sustained winds are expected to be at 25 to 35 mph.

Property damage and poor visibility due to blowing dust can be expected, the Weather Service reports.
