Chipping Service Offered July 9

Ramona residents can take their trimmings to Ramona Disposal on Maple Street for no-cost chipping.

Now that we are in peak fire season, it's important for Ramona residents to clear defensible space around homes and chip the trimmings. The chipped material can be used for mulch.

Residents can take their trimmings to Ramona Disposal Station at 324 Maple Street on July 9 for a one-day, no-cost chipping service. The chippings will be provided back to residents on a first-come, first-served basis.

No trimmings will be accepted at the location prior to this event. No dumping is allowed.
